I usually edit those later, but it takes some specific circumstances to make them look great and easier to edit. For black backgrounds, they turn out really crisp and gorgeous when we can place your horse in an open doorway. It works best when the aisle is dark and outside is brightly lit with natural light. Then I edit the photo later to take out the barn or anything in the background. White backgrounds are even more tricky, usually a bright day helps the editing process go smoother.

The photos will look much neater if the horse's mane is smoothed down or braided.

These are very time consuming to edit, hence the extra cost.

I'm West Michigan based in and yes I love to travel! If you would like me to come to you and you are over 50 miles from Holland, Michigan, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I love the way my creativity is developed when I discover a new place.

If you get some of your friends together, it makes it worth my while to travel and I can usually waive the travel fee. Just contact me to arrange a group session.

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 8 weeks (usually about 2 weeks). I try to share a few "sneak peek" photos with you within a few days after the session. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

That depends on the package you choose. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is only under certain circumstances. Weddings take a LONG time to edit all the photos and usually require more than one photographer. Contact me with details if you are interested.

Pretty much anything you could need designed, I can make it look consistent with your brand.

I base pricing off of not only the time we spend shooting, but also the time I spend editing & uploading. I typically spend 2-3x as much time editing as we did taking photos. So for an hour shoot, it will take me around 2 hours to edit & upload (or more b/c I usually take way too many photos lol)

That's why it can take some time to get photos back from editing. But your patience will pay off when you see all your gorgeous photos. :)

*Be kind to those wedding photographers, it can take WEEKS to edit all those photos from 5-8 hours of shooting!

The minimum amount you can expect is shown in each package. But this is a very conservative number, usually my clients receive MANY more than this. I do not usually limit you to the amount in the package, but reserve the right to do so if needed.

Of course, there are also unexpected exceptions, like weather misbehaving children or animals, and improper shooting locations. (Busy streets, dark venues etc) However, we'll discuss a plan of action to make sure we do not run into any of these issues.
